Weekly Bloom • Zantedeschia

Another plant mistakenly lumped in with the true lily, you've likely seen the Calla Lily (Zantedeschia aethiopica) all around the place recently. This usually unassuming herbaceous plant produces a mighty inflorescence in spring here in New Zealand, our temperate conditions serving them better than their native home of Southern Africa. While summer dwarf calla lilies come in a few colours, the larger spring-flowering are only pure white, exuding elegance.

Our special this week is the sophisticated Calla Lily bouquet
