Weekly Bloom • Alstroemeria

Commonly called "Lily of the Incas," Alstroemeria are more like a cousin to true lilies. These Brazilian and Peruvian natives are named for the Swedish Claas Alstroemer, a botanist who bought them to Europe and began breeding them for the cut flower market. Varieties currently available are usually lab-propagated hybrids, creating a wide range of colours.

Our special this week combines Alstroemeria with blossom for a wild spring look.
